Ljubomir Vuina
Ljubomir Vuina was a pioneering Croatian community organiser in Australia, best known in Adelaide for convening the first meeting of Adelaide Croats in 1950 and becoming the inaugural president of the first Croatian Club in Australia.

Vuina, Ljubomir
(19 June, 1907 - Sydney, 21 December 1988).
Arrived in Australia aboard the G. Heinz III on 4 March 1950. He was initially employed by the South Australian Department of Engineering and Water Supply. Together with Tome Novaković, Ilija Vidaković, Stipe Knežević, and Dr. Ratimir Rac,
He organised the first meeting of Adelaide Croatians on 25 April 1950 in Heywood Park, on the outskirts of the southern suburb of Hyde Park. This historic gathering led to the establishment of the first Croatian Club in Australia, with Vuina elected as its inaugural president.
In early 1952, Vuina moved to Sydney where he briefly served as vice-president of the first post-WWII Australian-Croatian Association in New South Wales, before founding the Jadran Club in mid-1952
